Special lenses (1)

Statistics claim, that in 2014 every day 1.8 Billion pictures have been uploaded to social media platforms as Facebook and Instagram. Among all these photos we will find many good compositions with vivid colours, beautiful portrait shots in black & white, stunning action shots and many other shots taken with the right camera at the right time with a tasteful post processing.
One quality that might help to make a picture stand out nowadays ironically is imperfection. Using old lenses on modern digital cameras may give your photos the desired character. Whattoshoot?

Barely two hours of time and the light is not too fine. So what … and where to shoot?

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Decisions – every day we have to make them, and as a photographer we are even faced with some more. What photos do we publish? Which photos should we delete and when should we at least save them and check them later if they are worthwhile of taking some more space on your hard drive.
With some of the photos we took, we were lucky (“The GOOD”). We had the right camera (or at least one camera) with the right lens, an excellent subject and made the correct settings. However, with most of them something went wrong.

“The GOOD”
it did not need any post processing, may be regarded as a nice subject and create an emotion.
